FATF travel rules for digital assets and blockchain-based transactions: What is the Swiss regulatory status?

Pawel Kuskowski, CEO of Coinfirm, will enlighten you on FATF travel rules and recent developments of AML/KYC solutions to monitor blockchain-based transactions. The «travel rule» is a FATF requirement for money transmitters to record identification information on all parties for fund transfers between financial institutions.

Our speakers will further provide you with insights on the current position of regulatory authorities in Switzerland related to transactions on blockchain and the impact of the travel rules for Swiss market participants. Also, you will get insights on how the financial service industry is contemplating various solutions to assist financial intermediaries involved in blockchain-based transactions to identify users on both ends of crypto currency transfers.
